The Work
Inflect partnered with Boardwave – a dynamic network of over 2,000 software founders and CEOs – to establish a public affairs function from the ground up. With ambitions to elevate the profile of the UK software sector and create a more supportive environment for scaling tech businesses, Boardwave turned to Inflect to shape its voice in Westminster.
We developed a comprehensive public affairs strategy, crafted messaging, and built stakeholder networks, embedding ourselves fully within their team. This work has led to meaningful political engagement, including a meeting with Rachel Reeves, events at Labour Party Conference, and influential collaborations with policymakers. Today, over 90 members are actively involved in advancing Boardwave’s Public Affairs Programme.
“Inflect has been instrumental in building Boardwave’s public affairs capability from the ground up. They immediately understood our culture and community, delivering high-quality work that reflected our ambitions. Their strategic insight and political network have helped bring the voice of our members and the software sector more broadly into the heart of government. From shaping messaging to securing high-level meetings, they’ve become a trusted and valued extension of our team.”
