Molendotech is a UK biotech company pioneering rapid water testing solutions. Their technology quickly detects harmful bacteria, supporting cleaner water, stronger public health, and faster regulatory responses.

Molendotech set out to push for stronger, more frequent testing of the UK’s bathing waters by advocating for changes to national water quality regulations. Their goal was to engage policymakers and make a compelling case for smarter, faster water testing standards.

Inflect led a focused public affairs campaign for Molendotech, targeting MPs with bathing waters in their constituencies. We developed a strategic stakeholder map and prioritised key MPs for tailored outreach, inviting them to join Molendotech at local bathing sites to test the water using their technology, creating a powerful platform to highlight the need for smarter, more frequent testing. Alongside this, we engaged ministers and officials to ensure strategic conversations were happening at the right levels, while providing a clear policy steer to sharpen Molendotech’s advocacy goals. These visits generated strong media coverage across BBC, ITV, and numerous local outlets, raising both political awareness and Molendotech’s profile.
